Upgrade Guide
Follow these steps to upgrade your existing Turnstile plugin to the latest version.
Prerequisites
- Administrative access to your Rise CRM application
- Downloaded latest Turnstile plugin file (after purchase/update notification)
- Valid purchase code
- Current Turnstile plugin already installed
Important: Always backup your database and application files before performing any plugin upgrades. Your current plugin settings will be preserved during the upgrade process.
Pre-Upgrade Checklist
- Note your current plugin version from the plugins list
- Backup your current Turnstile configuration settings
- Ensure no active form submissions are in progress
- Verify your purchase code is still valid
Upgrade Steps
Step 1: Log into Your Application
Access your Rise CRM application using your administrator credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Settings
On the left menu, locate and click on Settings.

Step 3: Access All Plugins
In the Settings section, find and click on All Plugins.

Step 4: Locate Current Turnstile Plugin
Find the existing Turnstile plugin in your installed plugins list. Note the current version number.

Step 5: Open Install Plugins
Click on Settings icon and then choose upgrades to access the plugin installation interface for upgrades.

Step 6: Upload New Plugin File
Upload the downloaded latest Turnstile plugin file. The system will recognize this as an upgrade.

Step 7: Enter Purchase Code
Enter your valid purchase code in the designated field (same code used for original installation).

Step 8: Install the Upgrade
Click the Install button to begin the upgrade process. The system will automatically update the existing plugin.

Step 9: Verify Upgrade
Confirm that the Turnstile plugin shows the new version number and remains active.

Step 10: Test Functionality
Visit the Turnstile settings page and run a connection test to ensure the upgrade was successful.

Post-Upgrade Verification
- Check that all your previous Turnstile configuration settings are preserved
- Verify protection levels are still configured correctly
- Test Turnstile widgets on various forms to ensure they're working
- Review any new features or settings available in the upgraded version
Settings Preservation: Your Cloudflare keys, protection levels, and all configuration settings will be automatically preserved during the upgrade process. No reconfiguration should be necessary.
Troubleshooting Upgrade Issues
- Upgrade fails: Ensure your purchase code is valid and the plugin file is not corrupted
- Settings lost: Check the plugin settings page - most settings are preserved automatically
- Forms not working: Clear your browser cache and test the connection in plugin settings
- Version mismatch: Verify you downloaded the correct latest version for your Rise CRM version
